“57 on Bok” is a landmark 9-storey student residence constructed using Expanded
Polystyrene (EPS) walling technology in the heart of Johannesburg. Each floor
accommodates seven units, featuring three bedrooms (two sharing and one single),
along with a shared kitchen and bathroom.
Godisang Spaces was responsible for EPS material supply, planning, and on-site
installation, ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency throughout the build. The project
was delivered ahead of schedule, with minimal material waste and strict adherence to
structural and safety standards.
Beyond construction, this project also made a social impact — creating jobs and training
opportunities for youth and women within the community. The use of EPS walling
contributed to energy efficiency, sound insulation, and long-term cost savings, making
it both environmentally and economically sustainable for the client.
